My Special Corner

I met up with Frederick Chu in November 2013, to further understand the role and job of an Educational Specialist.

Children with learning difficulties are enrolled in this centre to draw, bake and sing. Hands-on activities such as baking, singing and painting not only help these children to develop logical reasoning and critical thinking skill but also develop their social and language skills through small group interactions.

Parents were pleased to notice their child’s behavior becoming more manageable, is more patient and able to work well with others.
